Marmalade Season!

Sunshine for your toast!

Time to get all Paddington!

Juicy Coffee Cosie
Its a short short season!  Grab those bags of Sevilles while they are available!  I have a lovely green grocer who sells them every year, but most big supermarkets have cottoned on to us "make it better yourself" types and are getting them in.
Marmalade Thoughts
Zesty, fresh, with a hint of sugary sweetness...breakfast perfection!

Hey Bonny Mrs B, latest Good Food has lemon marmalade in it (plus a recipe for lemon bakewells to use it in -yum) have you tried such a thing?
Tempted, very tempted.

hey Ali!! I love lemon marmalade!! I have never made it though?! Now could be the time! Bakewells in any form....yummy! I wonder if it is just sponge though rather than almondy....as not sure about the lemon almond combo? Though to be far its not like I wouldn't have a good go anyway!!! ;-)

I'd love to make marmalade, bar one tiny factor, I despise the stuff. Jam on the other hand - that I will happily make but I just can't get to grips with the marmalade love.

Happy Hump Day x

Arrrr lovely ladies!

I made the coffee cover! Shout if you would like one?! I used to sell them in my folksy shop.

Marmalade is clearly a love/ hate thing too!

My son adores it, shredless but my daughter is wholly unconvinced!

Oh, all that faffing about with peel and pips, not for me thank you. Marmite is the thing for toast. If you want to buy sevilles, check your local market.
