Not the Mrs B News...

We have been away on our Easter break! It was lovely! Full of joyous Easter colours, changeful, mischievous bouts of startlingly bright sunshine and wickedly chilly winds, 'chocolate eggies' (delightfully termed by Miss B) car boot sales and Saturday country marketsand tractors!
I saw triplets being brought into the world...lambs that is. Not for the faint of heart!

And have been served tea at a farm in Cath Kidston cups, complete with mini egg and a huge slab of perfectly made homebaked Victoria Sponge....what was not to love about that place? Such attention to detail! Apparently all the local mums and dads buy a years ticket and meet up for their coffee and chatter, (mental health preservation sessions!!) while their children play on the amazing, indoor tree houses! A JOY!The little B's reveled in the love and attention that can only be dished out by wonderful, loving grandparents. They spent days talking to cats, finding 'eggies', walking, spotting Easter Bunnies and being thrilled by the adventure of car journeys and picnics in Little Chef car parks!

There was a little of this....(gaaaaaaa calpol nights!!)

And on my return there was the reckoning...ouch!!

Then we all did this....But we wanted to say.....Nonna, Granda and Auntie M!Big Fat Chocolate Eggy Thankyous!

We had the best time!

Looks wonderful. Fantastic photographs. Can I ask: is there Italian in the family? Just wondered since you used the term "Nonna"?

awwwwwwww it was lovely this year!

No no Italian I am afraid tho on holiday MrB is frequently mistaken for one!

My mum's mum was nana and it felt odd to take on the name so when she became one we decided on Nonna....(tho I like to think somewhere way back I am!!)

I love all the easter colours don't you?!

And....cath kidston cups...they are clearly bonkers, but you know they have been open years and still do it, so they cant have that many breakages, maybe it is like reverse physchology and people are extra careful? It was just such wildly lavish detail....it made me v v v v happy!
