Earth laughs in flowers. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

The flowers of late winter and early spring occupy places in our hearts well out of proportion to their size. ~Gertrude S. WisterBread feeds the body, indeed, but flowers feed also the soul. ~The Koran
I'd rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck. ~Emma GoldmanPeople from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us. ~Iris Murdoch, A Fairly Honourable Defeat
Flowers... are a proud assertion that a ray of beauty outvalues all the utilities of the world. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson, 1844Not even Miss B has avoided the "Floral Frenzy"...

and MrsB is dressing up in them!No wonder so many people have written such wonderful things about flowers. How wonderful is Spring, that they are all around us and if you have the joy of a garden you can even have cut flowers without the supermarket price tag!

Go on....nothing extortionate, just a few flowers, floating in a bowl of water beside your bed, makes even the most grumpy of folk (no pointing of fingers now!)wake up a little more Zen like!

I had a University hoodie made with 'The Earth laughs in flowers' written on the back - such a wonderful way to look at the world!

It's so lovely seeing all those pretty colourful flowers and the floral Miss and Mrs B.
Spring is here even if my garden is only just beginning to stretch after it's long winter sleep. It needs a colour injection!!

the blossom is just extraordinary this year isn't it? I've been wandering the streets looking like a loon - staring up at the blossom instead of at where I'm going and taking lots of photos!!
