Sew Vintage

Sew Vintage, originally uploaded by Mrs:B.

I feel like an elf sat in the kitchen sewing! I love these little vintage teacup pincushions! (www.folksy.com/shops/mrsb) They seem such a perfect way to use the cupboards full of them, that I have "acquired"! Surely that means, Mr B that I can keep buying them!!

I wish I had a stove to sit beside....making tiny shoes? (Don't you adore the Elves and the ShoeMaker, next to the Red Dancing shoes, it is my favourite Hans Christen Anderson!)

Have a lovely weekend x

oh my goodness, I am suddenly getting it - this vintage thing - when I think of the vintage stuff I have thrown out because it was 'old fashioned', 'out of date', 'not useful' I could cry... mother in laws pale pink bone china tea set springs to mind for starters ... what is happening to me - I am becoming a vintage convert.

Mrs B - just wanted to warn you - i have heard about porn posts going around on a forum i am on. All in chinese. I remembered seeing a comment on one of your posts (mood indigo)on here and just checked it for you. It seems to be one of them, so you may want to delete it, apparently this has been happening to lots of bloggers. x

Aaah, did you have the Ladybird copy of "Elves"? I so wanted the pink leather shoe boots when I was six, those elves were way ahead of their time!
