Well done! I ran my first 10k this year, followed by 8 miles of the Edinburgh Marathon as part of a relay team. Really hard work training for it, especially as I was never the sporty type, but the feeling you get when you cross the finish line is definitely worth it!
well done Mrs B - i can't run, a slow jog is all about i can manage!!
WELL DONE YOU!!!! :O)
Absolutely incredible achievement! Pales my 10K in insignificance! Another thing about you for us to aspire to. You're a magic star!

Well I wish I enjoyed running. It's something I *think* about doing, but that's as far as it goes -- thinking! LOLGood for you!
Thankyou, for such lovely comments!! Bear in mind that I am a bit rubbish!! You'd probably laugh and point if you saw me! I used to run in the early morning dark so people wouldn't see me!! x
I am so impressed - will it be a marathon next?Pomona x
well there is a question!! I want to run the 2012 new york marathon. So I am going to do various races till then so I can really enjoy it and not....well.....keel over! I am naturally a very lazy person so running actually is the best way to exercise as it is just a case of stepping out the door and doesn't involve any faffing. it is great to run away from the chaos at home, sometimes!! xxx
