A Break From the Old Routine....

This week, family B had a wee stay-cation! It was lovely! We swam, ate out, had leisurely coffees together, went to a car boot,

£3!£1

(more irresistible china, Mr B says I have to start returning some to Charity shop before I can have anymore....pah?! Boys, they don't get it do they?)

'Boy Crafting'...cardboard sharks complete with paper sharp teeth, new coats of paint for toy diggers and hand printing!

I have read two whole books (!!! glorious!) and baked Brownies

and recovered the chaise longue!

Now it is pouring down with rain and we all miss MrB.....

P.S.

I always double the quantities and make a massive batch! Gorgeous and simple, great for pudding, warm from the oven, served with vanilla ice cream. I make it with 70% dark chocolate from.....Aldis!! It is without a doubt, hands down, the best dark chocolate! It beats the pants off Green and Blacks! Try it! x

Lusting after that chaise longue. . . . You really can have a lovely time at home, as you proved. We don't have an Audi's near us but we DO have Lidls and I am constantly extolling its virtues. :O) x

Making brownies is always a good idea - but why have I never noticed them in Delia before? Obviously I must try harder!

As to the china, just keep it in rotation, hiding the surplus. Mr B will never know?
