Jekyll and Hyde...

It would seem, that's me! Yesterday I ran 5km before the day had begun, was baking with children, house was clean and had new ideas...oh and gorgeous daughter sat up for the first time.

Today my son is still in pajamas at noon, has been glued to the television all morning, the house is covered in a film of grime and I feel like a rubbish mum.

It is this....I think I am obsessed. Help?!

"There is no help!"..... trust me, I am that much further down the line........... Repeat after me: "Inside every tidy house is a very dull person". Imagine how I felt when finishing my degree and my son announced that he had cleaned the fridge out while I was out and there were "creatures in it that had eyes!!". Bask in your creativity and continue to "juggle". Those children will NOT suffer, they will be enriched by it. "Inside every tidy house..... etc, etc, etc" xxxx

I don't have a tidy house. I doubt anyone does. You should see my carpet and my bathroom looks like a sewer.

As for running 5K I'm so jealous. I used to love running, but this time last year I fell and have done some bad damage to my knee. :(

Your children, I'm sure are very well cared for and couldn't give two hoots about the state of the house be it good or bad.

Hint number two: Buy dimmer switches........... turn them down - soooo much faster than cleaning!!!! (I supplement my wages by cleaning for a living, hope none of my customers are reading this!!! Ha!!!!!)x

just hide it all under the sink( a little trick i learned from you), out of sight out of mind that's what i say! oh and keep dreaming for a cleaning fairy to arrive at your house. that's what i keep doing...
but with much disapointment she still hasn't not arrived.

hilarious!! Yes I did fail to put that into practice! My husband played a rather major role in the terrible state of our house, by doing none of his jobs and leaving me in a pit! I feel slightly embarrassed now for putting it on interweb for everyone to witness!! But i thought it was healthy to blog real life in all its grim glory, as well as the pretty things!! xx

Yay! Someone has finally admitted to what all our house REALLY look like!
I am positive that most bloggers clear the decks in one ickle space, place certain objects as if they are there all the time, snap the all important pic and then shuv it all back!
I know I do!

Children learn a lot from TV..... really.... er well, thats what I tell my boys!

Running, good god, how, when...why?

I like the look of what you are crocheting.... could it be a donut?
